Where does the name Raven & Fin come from?

June 2, 2017

Many of our customers have asked us how we came up with the name Raven & Fin.  Well... we wanted something that represented both of us (the owners), Adrian & Christi and the products we are proud to create and share.

The RAVEN is the harbinger of renewal and reflection.  The Raven is also Adrian's spirit animal; it has been a part of and a reflection of who he is, regularly looking over him on trips across the country.

The Swedish use FIN to define that of superior quality. Christi is over half Swedish, and cherishes that aspect of her heritage, from the pickled herring, to the krumkake and glogg.

Many of our competitors use cheaper, lower grade oils, salts and waxes and still manage to charge higher prices; this is where we strive to be a step above, giving our customers superior products we are proud of for affordable prices without minimizing quality.

Everyone should be able to enjoy quality organic products without feeling like they are paying a fortune for them.

Here at Raven & Fin, we are a family run business that enjoys each other as much as we enjoy what we do!
